I have some experiences after going to the Writing Center. At the first place, I thought I would, of course, prefer the face o face tutor because I Iike to communicate directly. However, after submitting and getting feedbacks from online tutor, I now prefer the online one. The reason is because when they send me back my final draft with has marked my writing errors, I can see clearly my mistakes and know how should I fix that. Maybe it is also because I didn't have a chance to talk with a better face to face one. I went there two times to see the same person, and she did help me, but I think it was not quite what I was expected. The only problematic with the online tutor is that I have to wait a long period of time to get my feedback, and sometimes my friends couldn't get their results in time. I am taking English 1301 for the next semester, so I m planning to go to the writing center again.however, I will book appointments with a different tutor in order to get better feedbacks, and I will use online tutor also.
Hi Mai, I agree with you that the online will give the specific mistake, and mark the writing errors, but it takes a long time to get back the feedback. For me, when we take the face-to-face tutor, we can ask some problem that we do not understand, professor can explain that clearly for us, or give us the ideas about the topic right the way. However, for the face-to-face, we have to book the appointment, it means we have to get there two time to finish whole appointment. Besides that, I also agree with you about booking appointments with a different tutor in order to get better feedback, and I will use online tutor also.

In this ways, you can study many skill from theirs and they can see and show you recognize different mistake more than use one. Moreover, the more you practice, the more you success. Therefore, in my recommend, you should give a lot of person because they give you a lot of ideas and style to write sentences. In addition, you can study the skill of writing from them. I always ask many people, and rewrite many times before I submitted essays. This is experiences from one of my tutors.
